7th Annual Rock the Race
A Kentucky Derby Bash Benefiting
Ann Storck Center
On Saturday, May 2, 2015, Derby fans will come together
to celebrate the “Greatest Two Minutes in Sports” all for a
good cause - Ann Storck Center’s 7th Annual Rock the
Race. This signature event, hosted by Passion Nightclub at
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, has become one of
Ann Storck’s highly anticipated fundraisers featuring a live
DJ, hors d’oeuvres (served up by some of South Florida’s
most popular restaurants), mint juleps, and prizes for “best
dressed” and “best hat.” And to capture the excitement of
the race, a multitude of screens throughout the restaurant
for guests to cheer on their favorite contender.
For six years, supporters and party goers alike have
gathered to celebrate the Kentucky Derby traditions at Rock
The Race. Charlotte Mather-Taylor, Ann Storck Center CEO,
said that, “Rock the Race is a festive event that the
community enjoys supporting. The funds raised directly
impact the children and adults attending the Center’s Adult
Day Training Program, Early Intervention Preschool,
Intermediate Care Facilities and the Therapeutic Art &
Music Programs.”
Co-Chairs are Ann Storck Center Board Members Roz
Perlmutter and Susan Renneisen along with Alyssa Lovitt
and Sarah Moss. They will be working with a 20 member
Host Committee to ensure that the event is a resounding
success. Sponsors include: Seminole Hard Rock Hotel &
Casino, Passion Nightclub, The Perlmutter Family, Gray
Robinson, Minuteman Press on East Commercial Boulevard
just to name a few.
Tickets are $50/General Admission and $100/VIP.
Sponsorship opportunities are available starting at $1,000.
