and speed bumps on Bayview Drive will not be
approved by Broward County.
FDOT Community Service Rep Rebecca Guerraro
and the team overseeing the Bayview Drive project
anticipates that all work on the roundabouts,
sidewalks, street lining and raised intersections
will be finished by May 2023. The City will begin
landscaping when construction is completed.
Fort Lauderdale Neighborhood Support Manager
Luisa Agathon was on hand to reinforce her
willingness to work with residents on homelessness
in the area. She introduced Carl Falconer, CEO
of a non-profit who works to solve the problem of
homelessness by finding shelter and housing for
those in need.

Tim called for suggestions for next steps for
neighborhood improvement. Currently under
consideration are License Plate Readers or LPRs,
decorative street signs and entryway landscaping.
