President's Message
Dear Harbor Beach Neighbor,
he Fall Season has arrived and before we experience the upcoming flurry
of activity the Boat Show brings, Harbor Beach wishes to welcome back our
Tresidents who have been on summer hiatus.
In your Florida mailbox, some of you may find a reminder notice from the Harbor
Beach Property Homeowners Association, Inc. of $895.00 for the year 2024
Maintenance Dues. Those monies collected by the HBPHOA are separate from
HBI Security Patrol and are responsible for insurance, guardhouse maintenance
and lighting, gates and gate actuators, radar speed limit signs, seasonal planting,
painting, iguana control, bi-annual coconut removal, holiday decor, and other newly
HBPHOA Board Officers identified special projects, such as entry signs in need of freshening.
President Where are these projects in the queue?
Annette Ross
As of this writing. we remain in storm season and October is historically a very active
month. Many of you remember Hurricane Wilma in 2005. Her wrath of destruction
Vice Presidents arrived on OCTOBER 24th. HBPHOA has been mindful of that horrific day ever since
Barry Somerstein pushing maintenance, clean-up and seasonal planting as close to the Boat Show

kurth@harborbeach.org neighbors is a fierce and terrifying reminder. Add in Hurricane Milton, barreling
Michael Rinzler toward Tampa as we go to press, and it's another trying time of year for all of us.

Noise. Too frequent and at odd hours Fire Alarm testing at Pier 66's construction site

Secretary Sturman along with Fort Lauderdale Fire Chief Stephen Gollan met with the Pier's

hours in testing. Uninterrupted peaceful sleep has returned and gratitude abounds
Board Members throughout our neighborhood.
Mike Byrne Cut-through traffic. South Ocean Boulevard's residents experience a daily influx of
