Carla Prieto, Gran Forno Pronto
Carla Prieto has worked at Gran Forno Pronto for over 8 years.
She is originally from Venezuela and she fled for freedom to the
U.S. Her favorite thing about Gran Forno Pronto is that the team is
like family to her. Her favorite thing about Las Olas Boulevard is
that the customers are so friendly. Most importantly, Carla is
always ready with a big smile and kind words for the customers.
Gran Forno Pronto owner Oualid Jaouadi, says “Our customers
always love seeing her, and residents and visitors alike love to
return to Gran Forno Pronto, not only for the great food, but also

Cyril Rolland, La Bonne Crepe.
Cyril Rolland is originally from Cannes, France, and has been
working at La Bonne Crepe for 3 years. He loves interacting with
La Bonne Crepe customers and the customers love him. He always
chats with the customers, makes them feel at home and often
shares a story with visitors. Cyril’s favorite thing about Las Olas
Boulevard is the atmosphere and energy of the boulevard with so
many people from all walks of live and every corner of the globe.
Owner Eric Melot says, “Cyril is always genuinely happy to greet
customers and make sure they enjoy a great meal.” And customers

Lisa Burgess, New River Fine Arts
Lisa Burgess is an accomplished Gallerist, Art Dealer and Curator
with 23 years of experience successfully building and running
businesses in the fine art industry. She is recognized as an industry
leader locally, nationally and internationally for her expertise
within the field with an outstanding network of community, industry,
business and political constituents throughout Florida and the
nation. In 2020, she was appointed to a four-year term on the
Florida Council for Arts & Culture, enabling her to support arts and
culture on a statewide level. Burgess regularly merges her passion
for art with her desire to give back to the community by hosting
charitable events for a variety of worthy causes. Lisa is married
and resides in Fort Lauderdale, FL where, in her spare time, she
enjoys golf, fishing, scuba diving, entertaining and traveling.
