RVCA President’s Message

Hello Rio Vista Neighbors,
W e are currently focusing on a critical issue: improving safety and security

in Rio Vista. Our community is facing a troubling increase in auto break-
ins and theft, with Rio Vista unfortunately being a prime target. Many
residents believe that our patrol operates full-time; however, due to budget constraints,
this is not the case. While we adjust patrol hours weekly, it seems criminals are still
finding opportunities.
To address this challenge and enhance our neighborhood’s safety, we are exploring
a variety of measures such as installing additional License Plate Readers (LPRs),
Lori Sterling increasing patrol hours, and other measures to address these issues. In the coming
months we will be seeking input from our residents to determine the best option to
address these issues, and we will need your support to raise awareness and funds for
RVCA OFFICERS this initiative. If you are interested in contributing to this effort, please reach out to me.
