Bayview Drive

Repairs to

Begin Soon

Upgrades to Bayview Drive, the largest residential
thoroughfare in Coral Ridge Country Club Estates, are
scheduled to take place this spring. The Master Mobility Plan
detailed deficiencies of the road which is the primary
alternative to Federal Highway. Problems include a worn
and uneven surface, lack of designated and marked bike
lanes, inadequate and uneven sidewalks particularly on the
west side where most walking destinations are located.
This spring the first phase of repairs will begin and should
be completed by early summer. This phase consists of milling
and resurfacing Bayview Drive from Oakland Park to
Commercial Blvd. The new road surface will be stripped to
indicate 10 feet north and southbound traffic lanes and 4
feet north and southbound marked bicycle lanes.
Sidewalks and beautification phases will be implemented as
funds become available. The CRCCE Board will continue to
work with the city to attain these goals.
