The Color Run Hero Tour is more about creating smiles and
making memories than it is about miles per minute in an
effort to make running accessible to everyone.
Thousands of participants will descend upon Huizenga
Plaza in the heart of Downtown Fort Lauderdale to celebrate
the hero within in a realm where nothing is impossible.
Professional and amateur runners, joggers, walkers and
those in wheelchairs are encouraged to suit up as their
favorite superhero where they can soar to new heights in the
Hero Zone and confront double the color in the Super
Zones. Participants are also encouraged to decorate their
wheelchairs or baby strollers as the next Batmobile,
Blackbird or Fantasti-Car for added fun. The race culminates
in a new supercharged Finish Festival complete with music,
foam and, imagine that, more color.
Participants can receive a $5.00 discount on their
registration fee when they use the code RIVERWALK.
For those who do not want to participate in the race itself
can volunteer for a number of positions including pre-race
check-in at locations throughout the city. You may not end up
covered in color, but you will have a great time meeting new
friends and helping the race to be a huge success.
Proceeds from the race will benefit Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale.
