HBI SECURITY Update

Security Board of Directors and Officers! Listed below are highlights
Gfrom the last quarter, where we are making great strides.
We have been working diligently to make improvements, both with our
level of security and capital ones. However, this can only be as good
as the financial support we receive from the community’s voluntary
buy-in to HBI. We greatly appreciate our current HBI paying members
and those that donated at the recent security event for specific
capital improvements. That being said, we have a long way to go
to achieve our goal of 24/7 security to afford both private security
and FLPD protection.

We currently have only about 55% of the community supporting
HBI and frankly, that’s not enough to operate efficiently and do
all the things the community wants. Our current budget does not
support utilizing FLPD, which costs more than double the rate of
private security. FLPD is a key element of our overall security coverage,
and we need to include shifts for a better relationship with the FLPD
during key times.
