Tell us your story?
I was born and raised in Nashville TN, went to Florida
State University, and eventually moved down to Fort
Lauderdale to take a position with the Greater Fort
Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Prior to taking the job, I was unfamiliar with the destination
and still unsure I wanted to relocate to South Florida. For
the final interview I came to town and was put up at the
Riverside Hotel. I’ll never forget after I arrived, standing at
my bedroom window overlooking Las Olas and thinking
“now this is a place I could live!”. I walked the Blvd. After
about half an hour, I was sold. The next morning, I
accepted the position. Five years later and I’m still telling Las Olas Projects?
