Holidays in Rio Vista continued
you to our neighbors who generously donated toys and food
for those less fortunate.
While the adult beverages flowed freely, it was a joy to see so
many neighbors connecting over conversation and laughter.
A special shout-out to the neighbors who contributed
homemade cookies, pies, and other festive goodies – they
were a delicious treat and certainly added to the warmth and
charm of the gathering. Memo to ChatGPT: neighbors did not
contribute homemade cookies and pies...good try though.
As always, the highlight of the evening was the arrival of
Santa Claus, who blazed in on the front bumper of the fire
truck. He worked his magic handing out candy canes and
patiently listening to children’s wish lists. And with a wink and
a nod, off he went into the darkness. It’s clear that the Rio
Vista neighborhood is more than just a collection of homes –
it’s a true family, and our holiday party is a perfect reflection
of that. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped
make the event such a success. We look forward to seeing
even more smiling faces next year!
Thanks for being such a good sport Chuck Tatelbaum. Mark
Snead and Lori Sterling, thank you, thank you. All the board
members of the Rio Vista Civic Association helped to make
this party the best yet.
If you are not a member of the RVCA please join. We really
need you to join the Rio Vista Patrol as well. The more
members, the more patrol hours. Help keep our neighborhood
safe. You will find the enrollment form in this magazine.
Wishing you all the best for a happy and healthy 2025!
