RVCA President’s Message

Hello Neighbors,

o here we are, a few days from the first day of Fall, and your board is busy
planning the annual Rio Vista Holiday Party. Nancy Messing, a long-time
Smember of the board, has been the force behind this event for many years and
never disappoints.

I don’t want to give away all the surprises but you should definitely ‘Save The Date!’
We will be at Virginia Young Park on December 2nd from 6-9 pm with great food,
great live music and lots of fun things for the kids of all ages. We can promise you a
great kickoff party to the holiday season.
Lori Sterling Our next general meeting, scheduled for September 18th, will include our featured
speaker Laura Reece, City of Fort Lauderdale Director of the Office of Management
and Budget, to present and answer your questions. And we always have our
RVCA OFFICERS representatives from our patrol and code enforcement department to answer any of
President your questions. The meeting is at 7:00 pm at 615 SE 9th St.

With summer nearly behind us, I’d like to express my gratitude to a dedicated group of
Secretary neighbors who have diligently watered our native orchids for the past several months.
