President’s Message

Happy Fall Everyone!

s I am writing this, Hurricane Helene has ravished Florida’s Big Bend area
leaving devastation and destruction as she made landfall as a category 4
Astorm. This was the strongest hurricane on record for this area. My heart
goes out to all of those affected by this disastrous event. Although Fort Lauderdale
was spared this time, we are reminded how powerful mother nature is and the
importance of preparation.
I am also sad to inform you about the recent passing of two of our long-time
Helena Cooper Landings residents, both my neighbors. John Dapprich and Dr. Theodore Lescher.
PRESIDENT May you rest in peace. The neighborhood won’t be the same without you.

The Association is soon entering into our MEMBERSHIP DRIVE. By November 1st,
OFFICERS all Landings residents should expect to receive the membership renewal form by
VICE PRESIDENT mail. We encourage you to please send in your renewal forms and payments
