                                          MINUTES

             Tuesday, April 9, 2024

             President Tim Hernandez called the meeting to order
             at 6:11 PM.
             Vicki Lynch called the roll. Present were Tim Hernandez,
             Karen Polivka, Craig Sinder, Vicki Lynch, Jon Brody, Renata
             Cammarata, Judy High, Brian O’Connell, Paige O’Mahoney,
             Bruce Quailey, and Jeff Stitch. Bob Mayo was absent.
             The reading of the minutes of the 2023 Annual Meeting
             were waived.
             Craig Singer reviewed the Treasurer’s Report.
                          2023 Year End Summary
                         Total Revenues $158,407.15
             Total Expenses $99,407.26  |  Total Assets $180,996.32

             Tim reviewed the Board accomplishments for 2023 – 2024:
              • Speed Cushion Installation
              • Bayview Drive Improvements (Sidewalks/Roundabouts)
              • Monitor Development Applications
              • Continue Security Patrol Program
              • Engage with City on Homeless/Panhandling
              • License Plate Reader Program
              • Lighted and re-landscaped Bayview entry monuments
              • Bayview Park Improvements
              • Work with City on Code Enforcement Issues
              • Vacation Rental Monitoring
              • Museum of Art Event Sunday April 28, 2024
             Jon Brody reported that there are currently 26 vacation rental
             homes in CRCCE. The city minimally regulates these homes.
             A full list and map are available on the website. Neighbors
             may consult the list for names of homeowners and contact
             information should they need to have a complaint addressed.
             State Representative Chip LaMarca lobbied against Senate
             bill 280 that takes away local control of vacation rentals and
             gives it to the state.
             Governor DeSantis recently signed the following into law:
             • The Seminole Gaming Compact
             • Unauthorized public camping/public sleeping – HB Bill 1365
             • Immediate removal of squatters – HB 621
