CRCCE Neighborhood of the Month Reception

at NSU Art Museum

On Sunday, April 28th, NSU Art Museum hosted a private event for residents of Coral Ridge Country Club. A great turnout of
CRCCE friends and neighbors gathered in the museum courtyard for wine and cheese, followed by docent-led private tours of
the museum.
Exhibits of particular interest were The Louis M. Glacken display of his early 20th Century illustrated and animated cartoon
covers of the satirical Puck Magazine; Glory of the World: Color Field Painting which focused on the mid-20th Century concept
of using color manipulation to create art; and The Daily Act of Art Making which highlighted the works of South Florida artists
Jaime Grant, Elizabeth Thompson, Matthew Carone.
